With all the noise and commotion around the re-emergence of pop's chameleon king, via the soon to be released LP 'The Next Day', Soulwax (2Many DJ's) have produced a great little fan video of all things Bowie.
It showcases the better moments in the Thin White Dukes career, highlighting those kooky 'Bowie' characters and exploring the man's genius at self reinvention and re-interpretation.
If your a Bowie fan, have a watch, and if your not, have a watch anyway. There are some wonderful ideas and images cobbled together from Bowie's extraordinary career.

Remnants - Stop Motion History Of The Neolithic
REMNANTS explores the rise and fall of the Neolithic civilisation of Britain via motion controlled, digital timelapse cinematography.
This sounds right up my street, am a total sucker for all things Neolithic and onwards.
Here's a couple of Trailers for the movie.
I've hoofed it to, huddled under, touched and marveled at may of the sites included in the trailers.
Can't wait to see the full thing looks wonderful.
"In one of the longest continuous cultural developments ever known, for nearly 3000 years construction was undertaken of some of the most enduring monuments in the world – standing stones and stone circles. Having been dismissed for centuries by much of academia as the work of little more than illiterate barbarians, research in the 20th and 21st centuries by a handful of persistent investigators has revealed these Megalithic sites to be not only amongst the oldest and most mysterious, but perhaps the most profound. Little is known of this civilisation, and its people have all but vanished without trace. All that is left are their remnants, and they too, in the crush of ‘progress’ are disappearing. Photographed throughout the UK and Ireland, and set to an original music score by TANGERINE DREAM member Thorsten Quaeschning, REMNANTS captures the essence and austere beauty of these amazing constructions, suggests and reveals their purposes, and poses an important question to our own contemporary position. History has proven repeatedly that no civilisation can last indefinitely. Humankind’s attempts to immortalise itself have been futile undertakings. Our current technologically based civilisation may shortly find itself at this same juncture.
Is it not unlikely that we shall share the same fate?

Davros VS Bond
Genius little stop motion home made video I stumbled across on YouTube. Apparently took two years to make, some fantastic sound effects, esp the crappy motorbike noise when Davros is scooting about.
The bit when Davros texts Godzilla for help had me howling .

Oneida - A List Of Burning Mountains, Accompanying Videos
Oneida (pronounced One-Eye-Da) have just released their 12th LP on Jagjaguwar a 2 track affair which has a couple of specially commissioned video's to accompany both of the 19 odd minute tracks. So far it's a vinyl only album comprising all the trademark Oneida elements of drone/ noise/ kosmiche and free jazz in a frankly mind blowing/ head scratching single composition, it almost comprises a sort of psychedelic space opera, albeit without vocals or voice.
I gotta admit, this record had me baffled for the first few spins, but slowly, like a lotus flower opening, it's wonders slowly revealed themselves. A massive step up from the last part of the 'Thank Your Parents' trilogy 'Absolute II', which if I'm honest, was a massive impenetrable baffling disappointment for me.
'A List Of Burning Mountains' is probably more like the Oneida side project 'People Of The North' whose album 'Deep Tissue' never left my record deck for a month or two upon release.
Various artists were commissioned to do particular sections of the 'score'. I'm sure you'll agree it adds to the 'trip greatly.
If it's your kinda thing, buy the album here. for a fast a speedy service (amazingly mine turned up in just two days). Housed in a heavy weight card gate-fold, sleeve it's a beautiful thing to behold, and well worth owning.
